The First Wash Ritual: Activating the Honeycomb
Our handblock waffle towels are printed using low-impact, breathable dyes. To fully expand the absorption pockets and lock in the artisanal colors, please follow this essential first-wash ritual:

•The Activation Soak: Before using the towel for the first time, soak it in a bucket of cold water mixed with 2 tablespoons of common salt for 15-20 minutes. The salt sets the dyes, while the water expands the flat fibers into thick waffle pockets.

•The First Rinse: Rinse the towel thoroughly in plain, cold water. Do not use fabric softeners or heavy detergents during this initial wash.

•Expect the "Bleed": You will notice the water turn slightly colorful. Do not panic! This is just excess surface pigment releasing from the top of the fabric. It will not fade the actual design.

•Line Dry in Shade: Never expose the wet fabric to direct, harsh sunlight. Turn the towel inside out and dry it in a shaded, airy spot to keep the colors rich.

Ongoing Luxury Care
•Avoid Fabric Softeners: Never use chemical fabric softeners or dryer sheets. They coat the pure cotton fibers in a thin layer of plastic, which ruins the towel’s natural absorbency.

•Gentle Machine Cycle: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild, liquid detergent. Wash separately for the first 3 cycles to protect other garments.

•No Tumble Drying: Avoid hot commercial dryers to prevent shrinking the honeycomb grid. Air drying preserves the structural integrity of the long-staple Indian cotton.

•No Ironing: Do not press the towel flat with a heavy hot iron. Allowing it to air-dry naturally keeps the waffle pockets fluffy, thick, and fully functional.

•Processing Time: Orders are checked & securely packed and dispatched within 24 to 48 hours.

•Delivery Timeline: 3 to 5 business days for metros; 5 to 7 business days for the rest of India.

•Tracking: A tracking link will be sent via SMS and Email as soon as your order ships.

•Strict Return Policy: We only accept returns or exchanges if the item arrives physically damaged or defective. We do not accept returns for change of mind or color preferences.

•Unboxing Video Mandatory: To claim a return for a damaged product, you must record a clear, unedited unboxing video from the moment you open the courier package. Please email this video along with your order number to our support team within 5 days of delivery.

•What is NOT a Damage: As explained in our "What is Handblock" section, minor print misalignments, natural dye spills, or slight color variations are proofs of authentic human craftsmanship. These are unique characteristics, not manufacturing defects, and do not qualify for a return.
